Greycon is the leading provider of production scheduling and trim optimization solutions for the paper, converting and printing industries. Greycon’s applications – S-Plan® Advanced Planning and Scheduling and X-Trim® Trim Optimization – are at work in more than 150 sites around the world.

Greycon’s implementation consultants use pre-configured industry templates and standard interfaces to deploy S-Plan and X-Trim in record time. The applications can plug-in with order entry systems, forecasting systems and product tracking systems. 

S-Plan optimizes schedules based on orders and constraints and manages the many-to-many relationships between logical orders and physical entities. S-Plan’s SoftBlock Optimizer provides a scheduling mode that is more aligned with the conflicting needs of production and sales than the rigid policy of pre-announced campaigns. The result is the industry’s most sophisticated inquiry and production scheduling functionality. S-Plan is ready to integrate with X-Trim providing a global optimization solution for scheduling and trim.

X-Trim offers solutions for slitting and sheeting problems with coating, extruding, skiving and converting and multi-stage operations, such as rewinding, simplex and duplex sheeting. X-Trim addresses the constraints of slitter knife changes, load planning, transportation costs, quality imperfections, grade inter-trimming and multi-site global optimization.
